Mediation is a process in which the parties agree to appoint a third party neutral to help them negotiate a resolution to a dispute which has arisen between them. Mediations may take place between two parties or between multiple parties with a common problem.
"Michael was an extremely effective mediator for us in a large pharmaceutical study contract dispute where the parties were diametrically opposed to each other at the beginning of the day and had fully settled the case by the end of the day. He was tenacious, persuasive and got the job done."
Kurt S Kusiak, Fitch Law Partners, Boston
"Michael is an excellent mediator. He is both authoritative and pragmatic. His vast experience and understanding of the law means that the parties respect his guidance, which is extremely important when conducting a mediation. Most importantly, he is very focussed on and skilled at ensuring that the mediation is successful."
Carolyn Pepper, Reed Smith
"He has a deep understanding of the most arcane aspects of IP law."
Legal 500 2016 (IP)
